Borneo Forest Cooperative (BFC) Workshop 2011

On the 20th & 21stof July 2011, BFC held a two days workshop at Sabah Softwoods Berhad (SSB). Around 50 participants from various background & organization took part which ranging from forest plantations to academic institutions. The main objective of this workshop is to exchange informations and germplasm between the participants as well as conferred an open-discussion on current issues and tree improvement practices applied in the tree planting sector in East Malaysia. The issues and practices discussed are as below:

In this workshop, participants visited few of SSB's tree related operation sites such as Brumas Tree Plantation, Chipmill, Small-Logs Processing (SLP) Plant and etc.
