Green color theme is for Hari Raya Aidilfitri, red color theme is for? Correct! It is Chinese New Year (CNY) season again. This year Sabah
Softwoods Berhad (SSB) do it differently. SSB organized its CNY celebration dated 3rd February 2012, venued at our Head-Quarter
(HQ), Pasir Putih. Besides chinese cuisine such as "Lau Shang" being prepared, 8 lions from respective associations were also being invited
to perform to heighten up the atmosphere.
Chief Operating Officer Frank Salazar, Chief Financial Officer Kunna Segar, General Managers & Managers from various divisions, invited
VIPs, HQ staffs and family members were there experiencing the celebration together as one family. It is a good scenery when fellow SSB
staffs with different ethnic backgrounds dressed-up in red and some in "Cheong Sam". It really display the color of "One Malaysia".
The climax of the event is when SSB light-up fire-crackers with hope that in this new year, business growth, prosperity and good health will
fall upon us. Towards the end of the event, as usual in CNY, red packets or "Ang Pau" is given to the lion dance performance crews and
childrens who were there with us.
